Just type http://www.helloyello.co.za in your handheld device's browser, and you will automatically be redirected to Hello Yello's mobile website. You can also access the website directly on the address http://www.helloyello.co.za/mobile/.

Unlike the expensive SMS services that often cost R2.00 or more for each search, we do not charge anything for your use of Hello Yello Mobile. You only pay your mobile service provider the ordinary network charges for sending data to and from your cell phone (GPRS). A search with a subsequent business information request on Hello Yello Mobile will this way cost you around 5 cents.

Many other WAP services require you to register and then sign in to the site every time you want to use the service. At Hello Yello we think this is a waste of time, why you can access our WAP service directly without any slow procedures.

What Is WAP 2.0?

WAP 2.0 is the newest standard for development of web pages for mobile devices. The codes that are used to set up mobile web pages are based on the same codes that are used for ordinary web pages. With WAP 2.0 a mobile website can this way be designed to work both with ordinary browsers and mobile devices.

Most cell phones with colour display and possibility for Internet access supports WAP 2.0. Some older models however do not fully support some of WAP 2.0's features, why you might experience differences between the screenshots on this page, and how your cell phone shows the pages.
